A note on drift and depth: While symbolic drift and recursive depth are deeply interwoven, they should not be conflated. Recursive depth, by contrast, is the sedimentation of that movement: the layered accumulation of echoes, tensions, and motifs that gradually form symbolic strata. In short, drift is motion; depth is its consequence. One generates trajectories, the other consolidates them into recursive density.
